Energy Production and Management in the 21st Century – The Quest for Sustainable Energy

The idea is to compare conventional energy sources, particularly hydrocarbons, with a number of other ways of producing energy, emphasising new technological developments. The challenge in many cases is the conversion of new sources of energy into useful forms, while finding efficient ways of storing and distributing energy.
Energy policies and management are of primary importance to achieving sustainability, and need to be consistent with recent advances made in energy production and distribution.The Conference will also discuss the energyuse of industrial processes, including theimbedded energy contents of materials,particularly those in the built environment.Energy production, distribution and usage,result in environmental risks which needto be better understood. They are partof the energy economics and relate tohuman environmental health as well asecosystems behaviour.

Submission Information
Papers are invited on the topics outlined and others falling within the scope of the meeting, Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted as soon as possible.
Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper. Final acceptance will be based on the full-length paper, which if accepted for publication must be presented at the conference.
The language of the conference will be English.
